CASH MOBS HIT GRAFTON.

What are Cash Mobs?

The general idea is to have a little bit of fun and give a little bit of economic stimulus to local small business. We make people happy, help businesses to grow, get stuff for ourselves, have a great time, and make a few new friends.

At the mob, there are three rules:
1.      Spend $20;
2.      Meet three people you didn’t know before;
3.      HAVE FUN!!!

Grab a drink, mix and chat, then the destination is drawn and off we all go!

CASH MOBS coming to Grafton.  Keep an eye on your local small business’s Facebook & Twitter accounts – the call will go out about 24 hours before with your Cash Mob coffee destination!

Originally from USA, small businesses are finding a way to support each other and get the social aspect of shopping back in their communities.  In over 150 places around the world, communities are coming together in ‘Cash Mobs’ to support their local businesses.  Sydney had their first one in March.

“Cash Mobs” isn’t a political or social organization, a corporation, a movement, or meant to be an answer to economic crisis. By and large, those that organize Cash Mobs are simply people trying to make a positive impact on the businesses in their communities (and have fun while doing it)!
